HOW TO GET THROUGH A BREAKUP

FEEL. IT. ALL.

Feel ALL of the feels. Lean into the sadness. The happiness. The emptiness. The fear. The anger and resentment. The confusion. The complete brokenness. The feeling like things are never going to feel better. The lowest lows are there so you can prove to yourself that you can pick yourself back up. (because you totally can and you will)

  1. Meditate and journal on these feelings. Really understand WHY you are feeling these things.

  2. Surrender and release. Stop questioning why you are feeling these things now and just let them be. Trust in the process. Have faith that you are on the right track. Have grace with yourself. It is ok not to be ok. Its also ok if you are ok. You don’t owe anyone an explanation for your healing.

  3. Find fun. Find light. Sometimes we have to stop feeling and just start being in oder to heal. Move your body. Go out and dance. sing. adventure. live in the moment. do anything that makes you feel happy to be alive. It’s ok to be a little reckless. Don’t feel bad for what makes you feel good right now.

  4. Surround yourself with love. Lean on your friends and family. Let them shower you with their love and support. Give them all the love that you can. Now is not the time to close your heart off to love. Now is the time to give it away as much as possible. Romantic love is not the only love out there. The more love we give, the more love we are able to receive. Keep your heart open.

  5. Show yourself love. What makes you feel good? What brings you joy? Take yourself on dates. Buy yourself flowers. Get dolled up for yourself. Give yourself all of the love you once gave to someone else. You deserve it all.

  6. Practice gratitude. Make a list every single morning of the things that bring you joy. The things you still have in your life that you are grateful for. Look back at these lists when you’re feeling sad.

Sending each and every one of you so much love and light. I believe that everything in life works out exactly as it’s supposed to and that sometimes things in life have to fall apart so better things can come together.

We have to allow things in our lives to crack us open, because thats how the light gets in 🙏🏼💕✨
