Perspective Changes Everything

Leading up to my exchange surgery I was SO nervous. 

I was scared about the surgery. I was scared about the results. I was scared about EVERYTHING! 

Right before my exchange surgery I hosted a Breastie event in Chicago. One of the Breasties told me something that completely rocked my world! 

She said, "think of the hospital as one big party! Get excited about seeing your doctors and nurses. Everyone is there to see you and to help you!" 

Hearing that perspective changed everything for me. 

Instead of being scared, I was EXCITED! 

Sometimes, all we need is a little change of perspective.
